In a previous post I mentioned the moving Evening. It's a film, based on a book by Susan Minot, about an old woman who relives and rehashes past events in her life while suffering through dementia. Boy, that sounds really dark and heavy. Well, actually it is in some parts. But it was shot at Howard Cushing Jr's Newport Beach, RI home. Here's some pretty pictures to start off the week.
Look at the cute little seat in the entry. There's another one right across from it, as well.
Oooo, potted hydrangeas. That actually might work for me.
Just in case you missed it the first time: a better picture of the seat, plus Hugh Dancy's feet!
Love the blue on the ceiling!

Very pretty. I am so excited for flowers and spring!! I had a daffodil open yesterday and all my jasmine started blooming, too. I hope I have been luck with the hydrangeas this year.
I haven't seen this movie, but it definitely looks like a must-see.
Lovely pictures. Gotta love a little monday morning eye candy!
Oh that is pretty! I've never seen that movie either.
Ooo, so pretty! It feels so light and fresh. Love it!
Isn't this one of the most gorgeous locations for a house?!
That house was the best part of the movie. I could have watched 2 hours of people just walking around in it.
I haven't seen this movie. But I love the decoration in it. So funny to look at the decoration in a movie ..
The porch ceiling reminds me of your dining room- very pretty!!
I haven't seen that movie either. Fun eye candy. Thanks for sharing.
