Two months and not much has happened...

It's been a while, hasn't it? I can't believe that I haven't been able to come up with a blog in over two months. That's what happens when all you've done is swimming and free summer movies! To be honest, this is the first week that I've even thought about decorating the house. It's been hard enough just keeping it picked up. So here's a tally of what I've been up to since the summer began:

Supported hubby by watching the kids while he jetsetted off to Costa Rica:

Turned 31:

Went to Nauvoo, Illinois with my family:

Hosted two nephews for three weeks:
Oops, no pictures. Too busy having fun.

Met Jack Bauer:

Saw Glenn Beck's Live Dallas show:

Cancelled Trip with Hubby:

And replaced a broken cell phone:

I'm really bummed about my trip with hubby. The sitter had to cancel on us. Wahh! But, hubby and my oldest are going to Utah to visit family, so that should be fun for them.

On a much more positive note, I've started feeling very project-itchy. So, everyone pray that I can convince hubby to let loose with some funds and then I'll have super exciting pictures to post! Here's to hoping everyone else's summer has been as laid-back and fun as mine.

Wow that is quite a fish! Looks like you guys have had a lot of fun. I love the pictures from Nauvoo, especially the one where you are copying the statue. So cute. Can't wait to see your new projects.

YEAH! A blog post from Katrina. It's been a long, dry summer spell. Nice to be caught up! I'm sorry you lost the sitter. That is seriously a bummer.

Happy Birthday. Your girls are beautiful. Sounds like you have had the type of summer I've had, but my teenager has also driven me crazy with attitude! :-) I love your blog and was delighted to see a new entry.

Laura, I was afraid someone would misunderstand. I only meant that I watched all 6 seasons of "24", not that I actually ran into Keifer Sutherland. Though, the latter would be much more blog-worthy.

That would be a huge bummer! Especially with the grand plans you had. I'm hoping your man annies up so we can all be inspired by more Katrina beauty.
