I Love Texas in the Springtime

Texas in spring means one thing to me...bluebonnets! Being a Texan at heart, I love our state flower. I think it's unique and breathtaking when there are fields of them.

Here's our family's attempt at capturing the beauty:

Katrina, Your girls are so beautiful! I love the one of them holding hands, it's so pretty. We've been waiting for the bluebonnets to bloom so we can take pictures in them also. Where have they bloomed already? -Jill

I love bluebonnets, too! My dad was born in Dallas and raised in Austin, and he's an artist (oil paintings). He has painted Texas landscapes with lots of bluebonnets, and they are just beautiful! I've visited central Texas quite a few times, and lived there a couple times as a child, so this post was sooo fun for me to see!

Your girls are just gorgeous, and you take great pictures! :)

Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving me a comment! :)

I love them all, but the one with the girls running in their pretty whites is so beautiful. ♥

The field was off of 114 by Westlake. Exit where those big pillars of purple and yellow are. That's where we went yesterday. Good luck!
