Under Pressure

Is anyone else totally stressed out? I feel like everyday, I'm working myself to the bone yet not even making a dent into what I still have left to do! Ack! The problem is that recently I became my oldest daughter's Girl Scout leader. So, every week I host about 12 girls at my house for 1 1/2 hours. What was I thinking? And to start the troop around the holidays?!? I'm going crazy! Yesterday, while shipping something for church, I saw the signage that said everything had to be mailed by Dec 15 in order to make it by Christmas! Ack! So, last night I put everybody to work filling out all the Target gift cards, printing and folding Christmas letters, signing Christmas cards, wrapping presents, buying padded envelopes, and addressing the cards. I went to bed absolutly exhausted! Tell me that there are more frazzled moms out there, cause I'm about at the end of my rope!

Hang in there, Katrina! You'll make it. :) Somehow I ended up helping with all 3 kids' holiday parties at school next Friday. Like you said, "What was I thinking?"

Well my dear, you are definitely NOT the only one who's frazzled. I have that syndrome where apparently my plate is not full enough, so I have to pile things on it til they start falling off!

I think the holidays- as much as I love them- tend to increase the stress level- especially if you're like me and shop for EVERYONE, including yourself sometimes. :) And since I have a hint of craftiness, I feel guilty if some of my presents are not made with my own two hands, thus adding to my stress level.

I hear ya girl! We need some retail therapy! Except maybe for ourselves! ;)

Hey -- I spoke to you this morning, and am just NOW getting to read your post. Yep... busy time of year.

I think you are great. As far as the gifts getting there on time... they'll recover! Can't wait to see ya soon. (for some un-frazzle time. :)

It is a crazy time of year! I hear ya. I had a goal to have everything done by December 1st and I almost made it and everyday I'm still exhausted. Hang on only a few more weeks until Christmas!
